Live Sessions Vol. 2 is a 2020 self-released recording by The Petersens, the second installment in their YouTube live-performance series. The Branson, Missouri family group—Katie Petersen (fiddle, vocals), Ellen Petersen (banjo, vocals), Matt Petersen (guitar, vocals), Julianne Petersen (mandolin, vocals), Karen Petersen (bass), and Emmett Franz (dobro, vocals)—compile twelve tracks spanning country, bluegrass, and pop covers, mixed by Troy Dixon. The set includes "Take Me Home, Country Roads," "Landslide," and "Bohemian Rhapsody" alongside traditional material, reflecting the family's broad appeal. The Petersens' YouTube channel, which grew a large audience during the pandemic period, provided the performance base from which this and subsequent Live Sessions volumes were assembled.
