Look For Me (Patuxent CD 180) is the debut CD by the California-raised singer Angelica Grim, released in April 2009. It was recorded in Rockville, Maryland, with Frank Solivan producing and playing mandolin; Grim has said that he helped her choose much of the material. The core band was Chris Wells on bass, John Miller on guitar and Mike Munford on banjo, with Keith Arneson on fingerpicked guitar. Michael Cleveland and Nate Grower play fiddle on some tracks, Bill Emerson plays banjo on two, and Mike Auldridge plays dobro on two.

Grim sings lead and harmony, with Wayne Taylor and Solivan singing on every vocal track. The title song is her own, written for her older sister. The rest of the program draws on writers such as Hazel Dickens (“Old Calloused Hands,” “West Virginia My Home”), Carter Stanley (“She’s More to Be Pitied”), Johnny Cash (“I Still Miss Someone”), Townes Van Zandt (“If I Needed You”) and Wayne Carson (“The Letter”), plus Flatt and Scruggs’s “He Took Your Place.” “Rubber Dolly” is an instrumental.
