Music from the Revelator Collection is a 2002 Acony Records live EP by Gillian Welch and Dave Rawlings, released as a companion to The Revelator Collection DVD box set. The eight-track, thirty-nine-minute set documents the duo in concert during the Time (The Revelator) era, performing songs from that album alongside covers of Bob Dylan ("Billy"), Neil Young ("Pocahontas"), Townes Van Zandt ("White Freightliner Blues"), and Bill Monroe ("I'm on My Way Back to the Old Home"), as well as the unreleased original "Wichita." Recorded with no additional musicians, the EP captures Welch and Rawlings at the height of their powers as a self-contained acoustic duo, their interlocking guitar parts and close harmonies defining an approach that had reshaped American roots music.
