No Doubt About It cover

No Doubt About It (Revonah Records RS 933) is a studio album from John Ray "Curly" Seckler, the Lincoln County, North Carolina mandolinist and vocalist who became one of the most familiar voices in the Flatt & Scruggs ensemble, joined here by an ensemble of longtime colleagues and younger Nashville-area musicians for a Revonah Records project that documents his later solo period. Seckler plays mandolin and sings; Paul Warren plays fiddle; Clarence "Tater" Tate plays fiddle; Marty Stuart plays guitar and sings; Blake Williams plays banjo; and Pete Corum holds the bass. Stuart's presence — at this point still in the early phase of the guitar virtuosity and traditional allegiance that would make him a central figure in the Nashville traditional movement — gives the album an intergenerational quality that the lineup's range of experience reinforces.
