O.C.M.S. (Nettwerk NW 6354-2, 2004) is Old Crow Medicine Show's debut major-label album, produced by David Rawlings at RCA Studio B and Woodland Sound Studios in Nashville. Ketch Secor (fiddle, harmonica, vocals), Critter Fuqua (banjo, guitar, vocals), Willie Watson (guitar, banjo, vocals), Morgan Jahnig (upright bass), and Kevin Hayes (drums, guitjo) arrived on record after years busking on street corners from New York to Nashville. The album reached #1 on the Billboard Bluegrass Albums chart and logged over 147 chart weeks, driven largely by "Wagon Wheel" — a Secor lyric set to a Bob Dylan chorus fragment — which became one of the most-covered songs of the decade and helped spark a mainstream revival of string-band and old-time music.
