The twelve-track collection gathers artists who worked with or were shaped by the elder Hartford, including Sam Bush, Emmylou Harris, Nanci Griffith, Bela Fleck, David Grisman, and Kathy Mattea, performing songs spanning Hartford's catalog — "Back in the Good Old Days," "In Tall Buildings," and "Gentle on My Mind" among them. Jamie Hartford produced the sessions in a minimal-overdubs, live-band style honoring his father's preference for organic, spontaneous performance.
