Precious Memories is a 1972 budget compilation of Stanley Brothers gospel material drawn from the brothers' Rimrock, King, and Starday sessions of the 1950s and 1960s, issued on the Power Pak imprint that Gusto Records and its affiliates used through the era to repackage acquired catalog at discount prices. The selections lean into the duo's enduring sacred repertoire, with Carter's lead and Ralph's high tenor framed by the Clinch Mountain Boys lineups of their working years. Like other Power Pak titles, it traded on a well-established catalog for the dime-store rack rather than offering new recordings — a reminder that the Stanleys' Southern gospel material remained commercially viable a decade after the brothers' partnership had ended.
