Quintet ’80 cover

Quintet '80 was David Grisman's first album for Warner Bros., released in 1980 after the quintet's two independent records had made the case.
The line-up is unusual in one respect worth noting: Mark O'Connor, who most listeners know as a fiddler, plays guitar throughout, while Darol Anger takes the violin and violectra and Mike Marshall joins Grisman on mandolins, with Rob Wasserman on bass. The writing is Grisman's, and includes the pair of tunes "Dawgma" and "Dawgmatism" - separate pieces, despite the shared root, and often confused for one another.
