The Old Time 100 Vol. 1 by the fiddler George Jackson and the mandolinist Tristan Scroggins was released on 2 February 2024. It contains the first 20 tunes from a recording session of 100 of what the two describe as the most common jam-friendly old-time tunes. They released it primarily as a learning tool, to be paired with video lessons, written transcriptions, and the remaining 80 tracks, which were offered on their Patreon pages.

Jackson plays fiddle and Scroggins mandolin, with Frank Evans on banjo, Amy Alvey on guitar and Eli Broxham on bass. Jake Stargel recorded the session and Mike Monseur mastered it. The twenty tunes run from “Waynesboro,” “Lazy John” and “Last Chance” through “Garfield’s Blackberry Blossom,” “Elk River Blues,” “Bile ’Em Cabbage Down,” “Buffalo Gals” and “Tennessee Breakdown” to “Ducks on the Millpond” and “Fire on the Mountain.” A second volume, described as a field-recording-style collection captured during a jam with Nashville musicians, followed on 2 May 2025.
