Wild Rose of Morning is a 2024 self-released album by Andrew Marlin — the mandolinist and singer-songwriter known as a founding member of Mandolin Orange (now Watchhouse) — recorded as a trio with guitarist Jordan Tice and fiddler Christian Sedelmyer at The Tractor Shed by engineer Sean Sullivan. The set draws primarily on traditional songs and tunes, including a Norman Blake piece and a Leadbelly cover, performed in a spare, unadorned acoustic string-band style that strips away the atmospheric production of Marlin's Watchhouse recordings. Note: catalog personnel lists Kai Welch and Mike Rogers, which do not match available documentation; the confirmed lineup is Marlin, Tice, and Sedelmyer.
