Larry Sparks joined the Stanley Brothers as a guitarist and lead singer after Carter Stanley’s death in 1966, then launched his own career in the early 1970s that has continued for fifty years. His baritone voice and traditional approach made him one of the genre’s most-respected solo bandleaders. Twenty-two recordings on this site canonically by Larry Sparks.
