Bob Carlin
Bob Carlin is an American clawhammer banjo player, author, and folklorist.
- Born in 1953 in New York City, he was inspired to take up the banjo by Pete Seeger.
- Toured for several years as a member of John Hartford's String Band.
- Recorded the influential duo album with the fiddler Bruce Molsky.
- Wrote the book “Banjo: An Illustrated History.”
