J.T. Gray
J.T. Gray was an American bluegrass bassist and music-venue owner.
- Born Earl Gray in 1945 in Corinth, Mississippi, and died in 2021.
- Played bass with Jimmy Martin and the Sunny Mountain Boys from 1979 to 1981, including on the album “First Time Together” with Ralph Stanley.
- Bought Nashville's Station Inn in 1981 and ran the city's bluegrass home for forty years.
- Was inducted into the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame.
