John Denver
John Denver was an American folk and country singer-songwriter.
- Born Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. in 1943; died in 1997.
- His hits included “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” “Rocky Mountain High,” and “Annie's Song.”
- Was inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
- Collaborated with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and co-wrote “Country Roads” with Bill Danoff and Taffy Nivert.
