Otto Cleverly

Otto Cleverly is the fiddling member of the Cleverlys, the comedy act created by the entertainer Paul Harris that presents itself as a bluegrass family band. Like the rest of the Cleverly family, Otto is a stage character; in 2011 the part was played by the fiddler Mark Pearman, alongside Harris as Digger, Irl Hees as Miles, Steve Bush as Vernon Dean and Stevie Wilkerson as Harvey D. That lineup had been together about two years when the act played CMA Music Fest in Nashville in June 2011 and was invited onto the Grand Ole Opry for a broadcast that July.
