The Gibson Brothers' Help My Brother, released on Compass Records (7 4549-2) in 2011, is the New York duo's tenth studio album and their most decorated. Eric Gibson plays banjo and sings; Leigh Gibson, guitar and vocals; Clayton Campbell, fiddle; Joe K. Walsh, mandolin; Mike Barber, bass. Ricky Skaggs guests on mandolin and vocals; Alison Brown, banjo; Mike Witcher, dobro; and Claire Lynch contributes a vocal duet. Note: catalog personnel lists Evan Jeffery Campfield, Evan McGregor, John Morris, and Larry Nager—likely production, engineering, and liner-note credits rather than performing musicians. The album won the 2011 IBMA Album of the Year and Vocal Group of the Year; the following year the brothers won IBMA Entertainer of the Year, completing the highest recognition bluegrass confers.
