The Gibson Brothers
The Gibson Brothers are an American bluegrass band led by the brothers Eric and Leigh Gibson.
- Eric Gibson plays banjo and Leigh Gibson plays guitar; both sing, and the band is known for its close brother harmony.
- The brothers grew up on a farm in the Adirondack region of upstate New York.
- Have recorded extensively, with albums including “Help My Brother” and “Mockingbird.”
- Were named the IBMA's Entertainer of the Year in 2012 and 2013.
- The longtime bassist Mike Barber has been so central to the group that he is often called the third Gibson brother.
