Jesse Brock is an Illinois-born mandolinist whose IBMA-winning playing has anchored Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, Audie Blaylock & Redline, and most recently Authentic Unlimited — a three-time IBMA Mandolin Player of the Year and a defining voice of post-Doyle Lawson contemporary bluegrass mandolin.
- Born July 18, 1972 in Decatur, Illinois; began performing with the Brock family band as a child.
- Won the band contest at Bill Monroe's Bean Blossom festival at age 11 and played the Grand Ole Opry as the prize.
- Won IBMA Mandolin Player of the Year in 2009, 2015, and 2024.
- Long tenure with Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, which won IBMA Instrumental Group of the Year four years running (2007–2010).
- Recorded with Audie Blaylock & Redline, the Lynn Morris Band, Chris Jones & the Nightdrivers, the Gibson Brothers, and Fast Track.
- Currently plays with Authentic Unlimited, the band that carried on after Doyle Lawson's retirement.
- Sings both lead and harmony in addition to playing mandolin.
