Man of Constant Sorrow by Ralph Stanley and Friends, released in 2015, is a late-career collaboration album that brings Stanley — then in his mid-eighties — together with a constellation of guest artists drawn from across bluegrass and country music. The title track had gained extraordinary new currency following the 2000 film O Brother, Where Art Thou?, for which Stanley's performance had won a Grammy, and this album capitalizes on that renewed recognition.
