Music Is What I See (Upper Management Music UM 016, 2021) is Rhonda Vincent's debut on her own Upper Management Music imprint, drawing on a broad circle of collaborators across twelve tracks. The core Rage lineup — Josh Williams (guitar), Aaron McDaris (banjo), Hunter Berry (fiddle), Jeff Partin (dobro), and Mickey Harris (bass) — anchors the record, with Vincent on mandolin and lead vocals. Guest contributions came from Lou Reid, Steve Wilson, and Dewey Brown, among others. As an independent label release following Vincent's long run on Rounder, the album demonstrated her sustained creative momentum, and Williams's departure from the Rage later that year makes this a final document of that particular chapter of the band's story.
