Josh Williams is a Kentucky-born guitarist, mandolinist, and lead vocalist whose three consecutive IBMA Guitar Player of the Year wins (2008–2010) and two stretches with Rhonda Vincent & The Rage have placed him among the most-cited contemporary bluegrass flatpickers.
- Born November 20, 1980 in Murray, Kentucky; raised in Benton, Kentucky; now lives in Dickson, Tennessee.
- Child prodigy who first appeared on a national stage at the 1993 IBMA Awards in the Bluegrass Youth All-Stars alongside Chris Thile, Cody Kilby, and Michael Cleveland.
- Played mandolin and fiddle with Special Consensus around 2000; then guitar with Rhonda Vincent & The Rage 2003–2007 and again 2012–2021.
- Won IBMA Guitar Player of the Year three years in a row: 2008, 2009, and 2010.
- Founded the Josh Williams Band in 2008; the band was named IBMA Emerging Artist of the Year in 2010.
