Rhonda Vincent and the Rage recorded this album on stage at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on 14 July 2016, with four guests, all members of the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame: Bobby and Sonny Osborne, Jesse McReynolds and Mac Wiseman. Upper Management Music released it two years later, on 13 July 2018, as a sixteen-track CD (UM 013), with a concert DVD and Blu-ray alongside. Vincent produced it, and Eddie Stubbs was master of ceremonies.
The Rage play throughout: Vincent on mandolin, Josh Williams and Sally Berry on guitars, Aaron McDaris on banjo, Hunter Berry on fiddle, Brent Burke on resonator guitar and Mickey Harris on bass. The band’s own set opens with Jimmy Martin and Wade Birchfield’s “Hit Parade of Love”; Sally Berry sings lead on “The Grass That I’m Playing Is Really Blue,” and Burke closes the album with Pete Kirby’s “Oswald’s Dobro Chimes.”
Sonny Osborne joins Vincent on Merle Haggard’s “Mama Tried,” and then both Osbornes sing “Midnight Angel” and a medley of “My Favorite Memory,” “Beneath Still Waters” and “Windy City.” Vincent told Billboard it was the brothers’ first performance together since Sonny retired in 2006. Bobby Osborne carries “Mom and Dad’s Waltz,” “Pain in My Heart” and “Rocky Top”; McReynolds sings “Deep Elem Blues”; and Wiseman sings “Wabash Cannonball” and A. P. Carter’s “Homestead on the Farm” and “Jimmie Brown the Newsboy,” along with his own “’Tis Sweet to Be Remembered.” Wiseman, Bobby Osborne and McReynolds sing “Bluebirds Are Singing for Me” together.
