Once More is a 1986 album released by the Osborne Brothers on Sugar Hill Records (SH-3754), the first of a two-volume series revisiting their classic repertoire in a stripped-back acoustic setting. Bobby Osborne (mandolin, lead vocals) and Sonny Osborne (banjo, guitar, vocals) lead an ensemble featuring Paul Brewster (guitar, vocals), Blaine Sprouse (fiddle), and Jimmy D. Brock (bass), produced by Sonny at Studio 19, Nashville. The set trades the amplified twin-banjo sound of their Decca years for a sparser, more intimate arrangement that reconnects with their traditional roots. Note: Dolly Parton and Porter Wagoner are listed in the catalog personnel but are not corroborated by any available source for this recording.
