Pull Your Savior In, released October 21, 2014 on Whysper Dream Music, is the Larry Stephenson Band's all-gospel project, marking Stephenson's twenty-fifth year as a bluegrass bandleader. Stephenson (mandolin/lead vocals) leads with Colby Laney on guitar and lead vocals, Kenny Ingram on banjo and harmony, and Danny Stewart on bass, with guest vocals from Statler Brother Jimmy Fortune, harmonies from David Parmley and Dale Perry, and Aubrey Haynie on fiddle. The set ranges from familiar hymns to Flatt and Scruggs-style numbers on tight, traditional instrumentation — Ingram's banjo a recurring standout. The record won the 2015 SPBGMA Album of the Year, cementing Stephenson's position as one of the most consistent traditional voices of his generation.
