Shenandoah is a 2017 self-released album by The Petersens, the Branson, Missouri family group. Produced by John Chapman—who also plays guitar on the recording—the eleven-track set features Katie Petersen (fiddle, vocals), Ellen Petersen (banjo, vocals), Matt Petersen (vocals), Julianne Petersen (vocals), Karen Petersen (trumpet), and Emmett Franz (dobro), with studio contributions from Jeremy Chapman (mandolin) and Jason Chapman (bass). The collection blends original songs, gospel a cappella, country covers, and hard-driving bluegrass, showcasing the group's versatility. Shenandoah was the Petersens' third studio release and helped consolidate a following built through consistent live performance at their home base in Branson and a growing presence on YouTube.
