The Country Gentlemen's Souvenirs, released on Rebel Records (REB-CD 1715) in 1995, is the band's final album for their long-standing label home. Charlie Waller plays guitar and sings; Jimmy Bowen, mandolin and vocals; Greg Corbett, banjo; Ronnie Davis—who joined as bassist in 1995 and remained until the band's dissolution after Waller's 2004 death—upright bass; and Tim Smith, fiddle. The record closes thirty-plus years of Country Gentlemen recordings on Rebel, a partnership that produced some of the most influential bluegrass albums in the label's catalog. Waller's guitar and lead vocal—the one constant across every lineup since the band's 1957 founding—remains the defining thread through this final Rebel chapter.
