Step Back In Time is a 2020 Pinecastle Records album (PRC-1238) pairing Dailey & Vincent vocalist Jamie Dailey with his father J.B. Dailey in J.B.'s recording debut. The thirteen-track program revisits bluegrass classics — including Flatt & Scruggs material — in a direct, traditional style. Guest contributors include Charlie Cushman on banjo, Darrin Vincent (Dailey & Vincent co-founder) on bass, IBMA Fiddle Player of the Year Patrick McAvinue, and mandolinist Tristan Scroggins. Released in May 2020, the album documents an intergenerational collaboration rooted in the bluegrass tradition Jamie Dailey grew up with, and stands as an affectionate tribute to the father-son musical bond that shaped his path to professional performing as one-half of one of the genre's most decorated vocal duos.
