The Best Durn Ride (Chateau Music Group CMG 0131) is a studio album from IIIrd Tyme Out, the Zion, North Carolina traditional bluegrass ensemble that Russell Moore, Steve Dilling, and Wayne Benson built into one of the genre's most celebrated contemporary traditional acts through their a cappella gospel singing, close-harmony secular material, and the technical precision that earned them multiple IBMA awards across their recording career. Moore plays guitar and sings lead; Dilling plays banjo and sings; Benson plays mandolin and sings; Greg Luck plays guitar; and Ray Deaton holds the bass.
