Irene Kossoy
Irene Kossoy is an American old-time and folk singer, one half of the Kossoy Sisters.
- Born in 1938 in New York City, she is the identical twin of Ellen Kossoy.
- With her sister, she sang in the close-harmony duo the Kossoy Sisters, who recorded an album of traditional songs in 1956.
- The duo's recording of “I'll Fly Away” was featured in the film “O Brother, Where Art Thou?”
