Steve Wilson is a Lynchburg, Virginia-based dobroist who played with Cliff Waldron's New Shades of Grass, Don Reno's Tennessee Cutups (1976–1983), The Country Gentlemen, and The Lost & Found — a Mike Auldridge-influenced player who later ran the instrument-repair department at Lynchburg Music Center.

  • Lynchburg, Virginia-based dobro/resonator-guitar player who also plays lead and rhythm guitar; sings bass vocals.
  • Began professional career in 1973 on dobro with Cecil Hall and the Dominion Bluegrass Boys, backing Charlie Monroe.
  • Played briefly with Cliff Waldron's New Shades of Grass in 1974–1975 (filling in after Mike Auldridge's departure); cited Auldridge as a primary influence.
  • Joined Don Reno's Tennessee Cutups in October 1976 and stayed through November 1983; recorded two CMH albums with Reno.
