A Tribute to Flatt and Scruggs

The Infamous Stringdusters

Album · 2023 · Americana Vibes AV-125

A Tribute to Flatt & Scruggs is a six-song collection that the Infamous Stringdusters released on 21 April 2023 on their own label, Americana Vibes. It followed their Grammy-nominated A Tribute to Bill Monroe. Bassist Travis Book has said that after Monroe, Flatt and Scruggs were the logical next choice.

The tracks are “I’d Rather Be Alone,” “Will You Be Lonesome Too,” “Blue Ridge Cabin Home,” “Earl’s Breakdown,” “Cabin on the Hill” and “Down the Road.” “Earl’s Breakdown” is an instrumental; the rest are vocal songs. The band is Andy Falco on guitar, Chris Pandolfi on banjo, Jeremy Garrett on fiddle, Andy Hall on dobro and Travis Book on bass.
