At Hillbilly Ranch is a 1971 Japanese pressing on Globe Records (SJET 8325) documenting live performances by the Lilly Brothers and Don Stover at the Hillbilly Ranch in Boston, Massachusetts, from approximately 1960 to 1965. The quartet—Bea Lilly (guitar), Everett Lilly (mandolin), Don Stover (banjo), and Chubby Wise (fiddle)—held a long residency at the club, becoming central figures in the northeastern bluegrass scene and drawing a devoted audience of Boston folkies and transplanted Southerners. The Lilly Brothers' rough-edged, high lonesome sound, rooted in Monroe and the Stanleys, helped spark New England's enduring affection for traditional mountain music during the folk revival.
