- Formed in Winnipeg in 2002, when Moody, Mehta, and founding member Cara Luft — three songwriters with separate solo careers — joined up for what was meant to be a single show at a local guitar shop; the blend of voices turned the booking into a band.
- Their full-length debut 40 Days (Red House, 2004) won the Juno Award for Roots & Traditional Album of the Year and produced two calling cards, Moody’s “One Voice” and “Beautiful Dawn.”
