Dave Pomeroy
Dave Pomeroy is an American bassist, a prolific Nashville session and touring musician.
- Born in 1956 to a U.S. military family in Naples, Italy; he settled in Nashville in 1977.
- Plays both electric and upright bass and has recorded on hundreds of albums, including several Grammy-winning records.
- Has worked with artists such as Alison Krauss, Earl Scruggs, and Emmylou Harris, and toured in Don Williams's band from 1980 to 1994.
- Founded the Earwave Music label and has led an all-bass ensemble.
- Has served since 2008 as president of the Nashville Musicians Association, the local of the American Federation of Musicians.
