The Traveler and Other Favorites documents the Country Gentlemen during one of the most consistently creative periods in their long career. By 1968 the Washington, D.C. group — anchored by Charlie Waller's warm tenor and John Duffey's startling high lead — had developed a sound that fused traditional bluegrass structure with folk material and original songwriting.
