Hal Rugg
Hal Rugg was an American pedal-steel guitarist and Nashville session musician.
- Joined the Grand Ole Opry staff band in 1963 and was its steel guitarist through 1979.
- Played steel on nearly all of Loretta Lynn's recordings from the mid-1960s into the mid-1980s.
- Also recorded with the Osborne Brothers and many other country artists.
- Was inducted into the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame in 1989.
