Keep on the Sunny Side: Bluegrass Salutes the Carter Family is a 2003 compilation on CMH Records (CD 8435), drawing on the label's 1970s studio catalog to assemble first-generation bluegrass voices in tribute to A.P., Sara, and Maybelle Carter. Mac Wiseman anchors the set with three tracks alongside the Osborne Brothers; Lester Flatt and the Nashville Grass, Grandpa Jones, Joe and Rose Lee Maphis, Merle Travis, Benny Martin, Arthur Smith, Curly Seckler, and Carl Story's Rambling Mountaineers all contribute. The Stoneman Family—Donna (mandolin), Scotty (fiddle), Jimmy (bass), Van (guitar), and Ernest (autoharp, vocals)—perform "I'm Thinking Tonight of My Blue Eyes." Note: the catalog credits only the Stoneman Family as personnel and lists every track "with Johnny Cash"; Cash does not appear on this compilation.
