Larry Robbins is a bluegrass bassist from Montgomery County, Maryland, known for his years with the Johnson Mountain Boys during the band's most active period.
- Grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland, and played in a country-gospel band and the group Bluegrass Image before turning to bluegrass full time.
- Was the bassist for the Johnson Mountain Boys from 1979 to 1986, the years of the band's heaviest touring and recording.
- Recorded and performed with the Johnson Mountain Boys backing Hazel Dickens, including on her album “A Few Old Memories.”
- Was succeeded in the Johnson Mountain Boys by bassist Marshall Wilborn in 1986.
