Keith McReynolds was a longtime bassist for Jim & Jesse and the Virginia Boys — the oldest son of bluegrass legend Jesse McReynolds, who held down the bass and trio harmony chair from 1971 until multiple sclerosis ended his road career in 1989.

  • Played electric bass in Jim & Jesse and the Virginia Boys, joining the band in 1971.
