Brittany Haas is a California-born fiddler whose Crooked Still tenure, Hawktail seat, "Live From Here" house-band chair, and 2023 induction into Punch Brothers as Gabe Witcher's replacement have made her one of the defining young fiddlers in contemporary acoustic music — the 2020 Americana Music Honors Instrumentalist of the Year.
