Bluegrass borrows liberally from classic country. Beyond the obvious crossovers (Hank Williams, Cash, Haggard), the catalog has plenty of lesser-known country songs that bluegrass bands play — material from George Jones, Merle Haggard album cuts, Tammy Wynette, Faron Young, Don Gibson, and dozens of country writers whose songs found a second life in bluegrass arrangements.
Each song’s page on Picker’s Guide has chord charts, lyrics, recordings, and song history.
